Emanuele del Rosso Host Cartoonist of WPFC2020
We are pleased to announce that the host cartoonist for WPFC has been selected: Emanuele del Rosso will cover the conference and its sessions in captivating cartoons.
He is a member of Cartoon Movement and Cartooning for Peace, and his work is published in international magazines such as the environmental magazine “Renewable Matters”, the economic magazine “Alternatives Economiques” and the Courrier International. His cartoons have also been exhibited in several cities, such as Amsterdam, The Hague, Paris, Trento and Ramallah. In 2018 he won the Italian “Strike” competition for young talents and the second prize in the Dutch Inktspotprijs in 2019. On a freelance basis, Emanuele draws cartoons and captures people and conversations in quick sketches as well as detailed drawings.
Digital wall
During WPFC 2020, cartoons play an important role. The competition Cartooning for #Pressfreedom, organized by Cartoon Movement, will be shown digitally on the conference platform and with a real exhibition in the Beeld en Geluid Museum in The Hague. The cartoons of Emanuele will be broadcast on our different channels online and an exclusive selection can already be seen here!
