The Dutch Embassy office in Chisinau will host the World Press Photo exhibition between November 18 – December 9. The exhibition will be available for the public in the National Historical Museum in Chisinau.

This is the fourth time that the International Exhibition comes to Chisinau. The event is organized by the Center for Independent Journalism with support from the Kingdom of the Netherlands. The inauguration will be attended by accredited ambassadors to Chisinau, IJC partners, journalists, and all protection measures are provided in the context of the Covid-19 pandemic. The annual photography competition awards photographers around the world for the best images that have contributed to the development of visual journalism in the last year. Professional photographers, photojournalists and documentary photographers take part in the competition.

DATES AND TIMES:

The exhibition opens the 18th of November on 11.00, invitation based. It is open for public every day from 10-17.00 except for Fridays. Tickets can be bought in the museum and cost 10 Leu for adults, 5 Leu for students.
